Meet Our Neurologist 

Dr. Rad is a board-certified neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist. Her sub-specializations include electrodiagnostic studies (nerve conduction testing), electromyogram (EMG), and electroencephalogram (EEG), motor neuron disease, myasthenia gravis, myopathy, muscular dystrophy, myotonic dystrophy, hereditary and acquired neuropathies, CIDP, restless leg syndrome, autoimmune neuromuscular conditions, and epilepsy.


She also has special interest in other neurological conditions such as headache, migraine, dizziness, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, dementia, epilepsy and headache in pregnancy, and autoimmune conditions.

Dr Rad was sub investigator for multiple clinical trials from August 2017- July 2018, Including:


A Multicenter, Double Blind, Placebo Controlled Study to Assess the Efficacy and Safety of H.P. Acthar® Gel in the Treatment of Subjects with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, Phase 3.


A multicenter, randomized, investigator- and subject‑blind, placebo-controlled, treatment sequence study evaluating the safety, tolerability, and efficacy of UCB7665 in subjects with moderate to severe myasthenia gravis Phase 2A.


An Open-Label Expanded Access Protocol for Firdapse (Amifampridine Phosphate, 3,4-Diaminopyridine Phosphate) Treatment in Patients with Lambert-Eaton Myasthenic Syndrome (LEMS), Congenital Myasthenic Syndrome (CMS) and Downbeat Nystagmus. 


A Phase 3, Randomized, Double Blind, Placebo and Active -Controlled, Multicenter, Parallel-Group Study of the analgesic efficacy and safety of TANEZUMAB in adult subjects with Chronic Low Back pain.


Open-Label extension study of Eculizumab, a terminal complement inhibitor, as a treatment for patients with refractory generalized Myasthenia Gravis.
